Terms of Service
Introduction
Welcome to PawTask! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PawTask application ("App") and related services ("Services"). By accessing or using PawTask, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
These Terms establish the legal agreement between you ("User") and PawTask ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). They outline your rights and responsibilities when using the App.
Account Registration and Security
To use PawTask, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that is used in violation of these Terms or in an unauthorized manner.
User Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us, and we handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee that our systems will be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping backups of any important information stored within the App. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we only collect and process your data to provide and improve PawTask.
Limitation of Liability and Data Loss
While we strive to provide a reliable and uninterrupted service, PawTask is provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will function without interruptions or errors. We are not responsible for any data loss caused by software issues, user error, device malfunctions, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their important data. By using PawTask, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any damages arising from data loss.
Subscription and Payments
PawTask offers both a free tier with limited functionality and a premium subscription (PawTask Premium) with additional features. Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple's App Store, and their payment and refund policies and terms apply. We reserve the right to change pricing or subscription plans, but we will notify users of any significant changes in advance. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing cycle, but refunds will not be provided.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use PawTask only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:
Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious activities.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to PawTask's systems or data.
Reverse engineer, modify, copy, or redistribute PawTask without explicit permission.
Submit content that is offensive, abusive, or violates third-party rights.
Intellectual Property
PawTask, including its software, branding, design, and trademarks, is owned by PawTask or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or distribute PawTask or its content without our explicit permission.
Termination and Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. Upon account termination, all associated user data may be permanently deleted, and we are not liable for any loss resulting from account closure. It is your responsibility to back up any important data before deleting your account.
Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, policies, or legal requirements. If significant updates are made, we will notify users through the App or via email. Your continued use of PawTask after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
PawTask is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the functionality, reliability, or availability of the App. We do not guarantee that PawTask will be free from errors, security breaches, or interruptions. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawTask and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services within the past 12 months.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PawTask operates. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be resolved through informal negotiation. If no resolution is reached, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or the appropriate legal venue.
